The Beads
Turquoise blue
Crackled with grey.
Each a mini world with land, sea and
Who knows what else.
A tunnel bored
Right through
Maybe
Down
to
Australia
Burrowing
All the way
Along to England
Although these worlds
Would have different names
Like Grand Aurorea and Gemma Minor
And I doubt they speak English
Or Chinese or Urdu
If they speak
At all
In
Bead world.
But they communicate
Because through the tunnel
Driven through each and every bead
Goes a thread, which joins
All of them together
To make just one
Beautiful
Bracelet.
